  Our family of 16 stayed in these beautiful premises for a long weekend to celebrate a wedding in a local venue. Everyone loved their time here and the top quality equipment and the grounds were much appreciated particularly the fire pit and barbecue area. Julian was a great host too. All top notch!

  We had a marvellous weekend and everyone loved the accommodation and the good quality equipment. 

  We had two nice fire pit nights with the wind swirling smoke round us  so it was  like camping again! Very enjoyable.

  The wedding days were brilliant- Brookfield barn was a great venue and Nancy had done a terrific job with beautiful flowers, fab food and drink and fun entertainment.

  Thank you again- the wedding cake and scones were a lovely touch too.

  We hired Walnut Barn, Cottage & Studio for our wedding weekend with closest family only due to lock-down restrictions.  The accommodation was perfect for our family to get together and celebrate our wedding.  Julian arranged for his private chef, Loïc Le Pape, to cater for us and he produced the most fabulous food: canapés to start, followed by a sumptuous three course dinner – all served in the beautiful surroundings of Walnut Studio.  It was perfect!

  Thank you for allowing me to host a yoga retreat for 10 clients at Walnut Barn, Cottage & Studio.  It was a fabulous venue for this event and my clients loved it.  Walnut Studio is a great space for yoga with great acoustics for the sound bath experience.  There are lots of lovely places to eat, sit and relax together as a group.   

  A delightful weekend full of high energy vibes, nourishing food, healing yoga, powerful sound healing, chanting, nature walks, meditation, connections, all whilst the sun and full moon were charging us up.

  Walnut Studio provided us with a lovely stay on the outskirts of Horsham. The studio itself is stunning and immaculately maintained, with Alexa controlled lights and a massive kitchen that has everything you could possibly need! Julian welcomed us on arrival and took great care in showing us around the accommodation and everything we had available to us- he even prepared some afternoon tea and a cake to welcome us (which was sumptuous). The studio worked perfectly as a base to explore some of the walks and nature on the doorstep of the accommodation, as well as nearby Horsham which is a great destination for shopping or a meal out. It also provided a great place to relax and chill out. We really couldn’t fault the stay and would have loved to have remained for longer. An added bonus was that we were able to bring our dog with us, who also enjoyed the studio and nearby walks, as well as the dog treats that had been kindly left for him to enjoy! For a relaxing staycation, luxurious accommodation and a host who will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay, we couldn’t recommend Walnut Studio more highly and we hope to return in the future.   We stayed in the Walnut Barn for a country escape from London for the bank holiday weekend. Julian found a hot tub at the last minute which both children and adults loved. The barn and garden are really tranquil spaces to be in. We brought our puppy for his first country walks and found some excellent dog walking spaces nearby. We were only with the 4 of us and I can envisage coming back with a larger group and hiring the studio and cottage to accomodate everyone.

  We were lucky enough to book this fantastic cottage as soon as the Covid restrictions eased. Julian met us at the cottage to check us in. He was extremely friendly and welcoming. The yummy homemade scones and Victoria sponge cake were a total win with both my husband and son, which we immediately enjoyed in the lovely garden. The cottage had everything you could need. I always appreciate rentals that provide all kitchen and bathroom essentials. It felt spacious yet cosy. It was a fab location for us as we were centrally located to visit the lovely Horsham town, Chesington, Brighton, Hobbledown adventure playground, National trust sites Polesdon Lacey & Hatchlands Park as well as squeezing in swimming at both Horshams local swimming pool (which had a great kids playground on site) and Guildford spectrums fab swimming pool. Parking is in a gated courtyard which was super easy and made packing/unpacking the car stress free. Thank you so much for such an incredible ‘out of lockdown’ getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

  After many months of pandemic separation, our extended family were finally able to spend time together and we picked Walnut Barn in Horsham for our stay. With proximity to the town and surrounding nature, close to Brighton, other places of interest and dog walks, it seemed the perfect location for us to stay for 5 days as lockdown eased. We arrived to afternoon tea and champagne beautifully laid out by the owner Julian who greeted us with warmth and friendliness while showing us around the wonderful property that would be home for the next few days. Walnut Barn was immaculately clean, well thought out with everything we needed to allow us to enjoy every moment together as a family. It is large enough for individual quiet time when needed and cosy shared spaces for us to eat and relax together throughout the day and evening. We had a gorgeous few days at Walnut Barn and hope to return again in the near future. Thanks Julian, your hospitality and friendly nature made us feel so welcome and the Victoria sponge was delightful!
