Walnut Barn is a former 16th century, timber-framed Sussex hay barn and stables. Back in 2000, we converted it into the luxury property that it is today. The original impressive oak frame is on display throughout, with solid oak floors and flagstone halls. The wide oak staircase leads to a minstrels’ galleried landing with full-width picture windows. Quality furnishings, heavy drapes, bedspreads, Persian and Turkish rugs give an atmosphere of luxury.

Laid out over three floors are the five bedrooms. Of which four have king-size double beds and one has twin beds. All the beds are made up with the finest, crisp, white Egyptian cotton linen and duck and down feather duvets and pillows. (We can provide hypoallergenic replacements if requested.) Fluffy white bath and hand towels and towelling robes are provided along with a quality range of toiletries to heighten your enjoyment. Hairdryers are available in each bedroom.

Walnut Barn now has full-fibre, superfast broadband with wifi delivering download speeds of up to 1 Gb/s facilitating excellent communications and access to latest TV streaming services.

Front entrance hall: with utility cupboards containing laundry facilities.

Family bathroom: bath, walk-in shower; WC & basin.

Bathrooms: Toilet rolls, Cole& Lewis shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, hand/body cream. Bath and hand towels, bath/shower mats, towelling robes are provided.

BBQs: Charcoal, kindling, firelighters, matches, cooking utensils.

Log-burning stove: Complimentary supply of logs, kindling, firelighters, matches.

Outside space: Courtyard garden with feature walnut tree, garden furniture and barbecue. A Hot tub is available by arrangement and subject to additional charges.
